The core process of custom packaging printing in color boxes is divided into four main stages: demand confirmation, design and proofing, production and manufacturing, and quality inspection and delivery. The entire process requires close collaboration between the supplier and the demander to ensure that the final product precisely matches the expectations.



Requirement Confirmation: Anchor Core Parameters to Lay the Foundation for Customization

At this stage, all key information must be clearly defined to avoid further revisions later on. The main points include:

Purpose and Specifications: Determine the packaging for products (such as food, electronic products), specify the length × width × height dimensions of the color box, the material (white card paper, corrugated paper, etc.) and thickness.

Printing Requirements: Confirm the color mode (CMYK four-color, spot color, etc.), surface treatment (coating, gold stamping, UV treatment, etc.), and whether window opening, special folding, adhesive application, etc. are required for the structure;

Quantity and Cycle: Determine the order quantity (which affects the unit price and production method), synchronize the delivery timeframes, and ensure that the products are launched on time.





Design proofing: Visual verification, reducing production risks

Design draft production: The design team completed the design of the unfolded pattern of the colored box based on the requirements. They integrated various elements such as patterns, text, and LOGO, and reserved a 3mm bleed area to ensure precise cutting.

Design draft confirmation: Both the supplier and the buyer verify the details such as colors, text, and dimensions, and proceed with sample production only after confirming that everything is correct.

Sample production: The printing factory uses the same materials and processes as the bulk order to make samples, which can be completed within 1-3 days.

Sample acceptance: The customer checks the material, printing color, process effect and structural integrity of the sample. Once it is deemed qualified, they sign to confirm and use it as the standard basis for the production of the final goods.



Production and Manufacturing: Large-scale mass production, meticulous control of process details

Material cutting: Using a cutting machine, the paper, corrugated paper, and other raw materials are cut into uniform-sized cardboard according to the design draft dimensions;

Printing process: The design patterns are printed onto the cardboard through offset printing or flexographic printing to ensure that the colors match the sample.

Surface treatment: After the printing process is completed, various techniques such as coating, foil stamping, UV treatment, and embossing are carried out to enhance the texture and durability of the color box. Die-cutting process: Using a die-cutting machine, the cardboard is cut into the pre-set shape. Then, through processes such as folding and gluing, it is processed into the final form of the color box.



Quality inspection and delivery: Strictly control quality and ensure timeliness

Batch quality inspection: Randomly inspect the color boxes, checking the clarity of printing, color deviation, structural firmness, and process integrity, etc. Unqualified products will be immediately reworked;

Packaging and transportation: Qualified products are packed according to the order quantity. The transportation method (such as express or logistics) is selected based on customer requirements to ensure timely delivery.
